Android Devices Open to Malware Attacks
Cisco has found that 99% of mobile malware attacks last year were targeted at Android devices.
Android device owners were attacked by hackers specializing in malware, which stands for malicious software.
The software used gain access to the Android phones included phishing viruses, which rob data from the user's phone.
Social media tracking and automated directions to malware ads were also prevalent.
But Cisco has reported the most common type of malware attack occurred when a phone user was unknowingly re-directed to a third-party, unofficial app store.
